How to Find a Meeting’s WSO ID Number

The WSO ID number of a group is displayed at the end of a meeting’s details on “Find an Al-Anon Meeting” (as depicted in the sample image below). The official name of a group is display at the top of the meeting details. To find a Group Name and WSO ID:

  1. Go to Find an Al-Anon Meeting on Al-Anon.org or click the button below.
  2. Start typing the meeting’s address (or ZIP Code or City) in the Find a Group Meeting field. As you type the address, a list of matching addresses are displayed next to the map.
  3. Select the meeting you want to see from the list and the map display will change to show your selection.
  4. To find Groups closer to you, change the “Search Radius” to 5 or 10 miles and select more details, such as day of the week, language, and participants.
  5. Scroll through the search results in the left panel to find the meeting information. The Group Name appears at the top of each listing and the WSO ID is displayed at the bottom of the each meeting listing.
