You can submit an event to add to the Southern California World Service Area calendar. Provide your name, email address, and event flyer using the form below. Your event information and flyer will be reviewed and posted upon approval.

Guidelines for Calendar Events

The guidelines for posting events in the Area website follow the Steps, Traditions, and Principles of the Al-Anon program.  We may post flyers for WSO, Area, and Alateen endorsed events, such as: 

• Area Assemblies and Area Committee meetings

• Sharing of Service (SoS) 

• Southern California Alateen Conference (SCAC) 

• California AFG Convention

• AFG International Convention

• District sponsored workshops and events

• Area sponsored events

Required Information for Flyers

Please include the following information on your event flyer:

• Title of the Event 

• Sponsor – WSO, Area, Alateen, or District 

• Date and Time 

• Location

• Pertinent information about the event, for example, Fundraiser, Alathon, or Workshop.

• Contact information for questions about the event. Please do not put personal phone numbers and email addresses on your flyer. For example, create a gmail account for the event and create a google voice phone number.

• Provide English language and Spanish language versions.
